Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 10am unless separate arrangements are made with management. The team at Hotel Collins will do their best to cater to your every need. Our reception is staffed from 7am until 11pm each day. If you are arriving outside of these times you will need to call the manager on 03 9639 1811.


Checkout time is 10am. We cannot guarantee late checkout however, if you require this please check with the hotel manager. If you wish for us to store your bags after check-out, this is something that we can accommodate.


Hotel Collins is a hidden gem, a tranquil venue amongst the thriving and busy Melbourne CBD. Once you step inside Hotel Collins the noises of the street fade away. Guests come to relax and escape, and excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time but especially after 10pm. In its absolute discretion, management reserves the right to terminate the remainder of any offending guests’ booking, without refund.


Hotel Collins is a non-smoking property. Smoking inside the rooms is strictly prohibited. Cleaning fees apply.


Hotel Collins is licensed and alcohol may be consumed in your rooms only. No alcohol may be consumed in any part of the Hotel that is not your own private accommodation.


You agree to reimburse Hotel Collins for the cost of any damage or additional cleaning caused to any part of the Hotel Collins Serviced Apartments by you or your party during your stay.


Payment in full is required at the time of making each booking. We accept all major credit cards. Please note a surcharge is applied to all payments processed via Credit Card. : VISA & MASTERCARD 1.5% surcharge, AMERICAN EXPRESS 3% surcharge.

By providing your credit card details you authorise Hotel Collins to charge the nominated credit card for the amount of your stay as well as any additional services rendered or goods consumed in room, and/or from our mini-bar.


A full refund of pre-paid amounts will be given only if the booking is cancelled 7 days or more prior to the check in date. In peak times, or if the booking is for 2 or more rooms, if the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the check in date, no refund will be given.

Outside of peak times, if the booking is cancelled between 2 and 6 days prior to the check in date, you will be refunded 50% of the pre-paid amount, and if the booking is cancelled within 2 days of the check in date, no refund will be given.

Special arrangements cn be made for corporate travelers. Please contact our Accommodation Manager for assistance.


We will accept deliveries for guests and will hold these at reception. Please ensure that your package (or letter) is addressed to our postal address – 182 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000 – and that it references your name. We will ensure that your item is delivered to your apartment but please contact us to arrange this (in advance if possible). No responsibility or liability is taken.


A Laundry is located on the ground floor and is available for us between 9am and 6pm each day. A complementary laundry powder sachet is provided for any laundry needs. Additional can be requested from reception.


Free fast Wi-Fi is provided. You will be given a login code and pin at check-in. 


Please note that Hotel Collins is for guests and their guests only. There are no parties to be had in the and excess noise will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to refuse entry.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, will not affect the remainder of the Terms & Conditions, which will continue in full force and effect.
